I recently had a breast reduction and lift with lipo and a tummy tuck. I have had multiple surgeries in my past but this was my first cosmetic procedure. I wish I had known about Kelly Greytok for all my surgeries! What a relief to rest in my own bed knowing a qualified nurse was in the next room and as opposed to a family member or friend (who I was always grateful to have) or hotel. Kelly picked me up from the sugery center (one less thing I had to worry about coordinating) and took over my care from there for the next 54 hours.
With cosmetic surgery, it was my understanding that the days after surgery are the most critical to my recovery and identifying if things might not be right. So it was imperative to me that I invest as much in my quality of recovery as the actual surgery. And Kelly was worth her rate. After picking me up and getting me home, she ensured I was eating the right things, my body was functioning correctly, and I was taking medications as prescribed. She helped me shower and showed me how to clean my drains and rubbed my back to lessen my discomfort (she has a gentle and soothing touch). Lastly, she was a great companion! She let me sleep as needed and chatted with me when I was bored. At night, all I had to do was say her name and she was at my side within seconds due to her baby monitor...so smart!
For anyone who understands the importance of aftercare and how it impacts the future of your recovery experience...of which mine has been amazing...I highly recommend Kelly. Don't be shy at her cost...she is well worth it and more importantly, so are you.

My sister had multiple surgeries done, with me being a nurse and her surgeon explaining to her husband what to expect, they figured they could get by. Kelly was highly recommended by my surgeon’s office, and hiring her for my post-op care contributed greatly to my excellent recovery. Coming home after surgery was more physically and emotionally challenging than expected. Kelly’s care allowed me to relax and let her manage my drains, monitor my incisions for infection, make sure I used ice every 2 hours throughout the night, apply ointments, and take my medications as directed. There really is a lot of post-op care to manage. She draws not only on her training as an RN, but also on her compassionate, caring and sweet disposition. She will make you feel at ease and relaxed when that’s exactly what your body and mind need to heal. She even brings you homemade chicken soup to feed you healthy food that hits the spot when you’re not feeling well, and reflects her desire to really care for her patients in every way.
I used Kelly’s caregiving help for 48 hours following my surgery. I was able to fully rest and not stress my body. It set me on a path of excellent healing, which was even noticed by my post-op nurses who kept saying that my first week and first month of progress was ahead of schedule. I attribute much of that excellent healing to Kelly’s caregiver immediately following surgery. I feel that the investment in post-op care is as important as choosing a good surgeon. I would recommend Kelly extremely highly, as she is an outstanding caregiver on every level!

After speaking with Kelly I was confident she was the qualified professional I needed to handle my recovery care at home. My aftercare, like many surgical procedures, left me with multiple drains, dressing changes, medications, etc., things I was not familiar with nor prepared to deal with. Ofcourse the printouts and verbal instructions you receive at discharge don’t truly help, even if you can remember what was said. Especially for me, an accountant!!
During my recovery, Kelly handled everything. She observed changes I was experienceing and presented alternatives that made it much easier for me. Kelly kept my physician updated, trained me on my aftercare: drains, dressings, Etc.

I am a 48 year old female that recently had a lower facelift. I contemplated the surgery for at least five years and I took my time to find the right surgeon, the right timing for the procedure, including recovery, and did volumes of research on the details relating to the healing process. However, by far the best preparation decision I made was to arrange for post procedure care with Kelly. Care following the surgery is equally as important as the procedure itself to achieve the best results. I did not want to cut corners; it was my face after all.
Having a family member or a friend aid in your recovery is sometimes an option. But, having an expert in nursing care attending to you makes all the difference. During the period of time following sedation and surgery I was in no state of mind to direct my own care. Kelly coordinated with me to ensure that I was prepared prior to surgery. She then took care of all the details from making sure that my medication schedule was followed, ice pack regimen in place, staying hydrated and eating nutritiously as well as ensuring my incisions were free from infection and healing properly. Family or friends cannot replace a professional nurse with emergency, surgical and home care experience.
Additionally, Kelly attended my surgical follow up appointment and the surgeon commented that I was healing better than anticipated. I honestly feel that I owe my successful outcome to her. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She made a scary and potentially uncomfortable process progress smoothly.
